Comprehensive Zoning By-law Project

The Township of Puslinch has Launched a Comprehensive Zoning By-law Project.

OCTOBER UPDATE! The third draft of the Comprehensive Zoning By-law with attached mapping is available for viewing and comment.

A great and easy to use interactive mapping tool has been created that shows the exsiting and proposed zone mapping in the Township. Check it out here: http://puslinchforward.ca/

Members of the community and interested parties are invited to attend the upcoming November 9th Statutory Public Open House, 6-8 p.m., and the November 16th Statutory Public meeting, 6-8 p.m., both  at the Puslinch Community Centre to learn about the proposed changes and to view the mapping. There are some key proposed changes, such as the expansion of the Natural Environment Zone, conforming the zones with the Official Plan designations including the industrial and commercial areas and introducing on-farm business and tourism regulations.  We want your input!

The Township's new Comprehensive Zoning By-law Project involves an 8-Phase Work Plan that is anticipated to be complete by year end 2017.  The project is currently in Stage 7. The following figure has been prepared to summarize key project phases, steps, and timing:

Phase Chart of the Process
