Other Payment Options

Please attach a remittance stub and/or your roll number to your payment.

To make things easier, we offer a number of payment options:

  1. Pre-authorized Payment (PAP) Plan - information about this option can be found on the Pre-authorized payment plan page.
  2. By mail - Current or post-dated cheques made payable to "The Township of Puslinch" corresponding with the due dates on the tax stubs are accepted and held for deposit until they become due. Please attach the remittance stub. It is important for you to record your property roll number on the front of your cheque(s) (starts with 2301). To avoid penalties and interest as a result of postal or other delays, make sure to mail your cheque(s) early. We ask that you do not send cash by mail.
  3. In person - You can visit the Township Municipal Office from Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Note, for the months of July and August, the Township Office will be open Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We accept cash, cheque and interact.
  4. Telephone or internet banking - Check with your financial institution regarding the availability of these options. The account number is the 19 digit tax roll number that appears on your tax bill (starts with 2301 with no dashes or spaces).

Please note that if you bank with the Bank of Nova Scotia, you are required to re-add the Township of Puslinch to your bill payee list as the Township was deleted from their system in error.

  1. Night deposit box - For drop-offs after regular business hours, located at the left of the front door in the Township Municipal Office. You can deposit payments (cheques only) in the mail slot in a sealed envelope.

Payments dropped off after normal business hours will be stamped as of the next business day.

Returned Payments

It is the taxpayer's responsibility to ensure that all cheques are completed properly. Any dishonoured payments will result in a charge of $40.00 being added to your tax account.
